- You or a family member have or had symptoms of salmonellosis (the disease resulting from Salmonella): fever, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea beginning 12 to 72 hours after consuming eggs.
- You or a family member provided a stool (fecal) sample.
- The stool sample was positive for the type of salmonella involved in this outbreak, Salmonella enteritidis (which is almost exclusively associated with eggs) with the PFGE pattern JEGXX01.0004.
